I walked the long way home from work to see if my local patch of this was out this evening.
First patch I came to was a large clump in full flower with a coot sitting in the middle of it.
What a great photo opportunity I think. Of course as I am walking home from work I have no camera.
Next clump has a male Mandarin Duck standing just behind it and the third clump - another coot.
Think I shall have to start carrying my camera to work every day with me
