| Re: do tegenaria Jump! Well, firstly the enlarged palps (boxing gloves) indicate a male specimen. Of the many I've kept I've never seen a Tegenaria 'jump', more a very fast energetic 'stretch' to catch prey.
Your spiders seem to be 'dropping' off the wall more than anything, which is a defence mechanism in a few species, mainly the orb weavers, though not generally Tegenaria.
Some more info would be good ie. size (excluding legs), colour, abdomen patterns etc. A photo would be even better.
In the meantime also have a look at Scotophaeus blackwalli .
