Tried an answer but got an error message when I clicked Submit so I will try again.
How true are those colours and any idea of length, excluding legs?
My first thought, based chiefly on eye position and colour, was Araniella cucurbitina female which has a green abdomen that can be a bit yellowish.
The web does sound a bit like one of the Theridiiae family and Enoplognatha ovata springs to mind but I can't really match up the eye position.
If the colours are correct, we did have a specimen with a yellowish coloured abdomen like that a little while ago but I can't remember what it turned out to be.
