hi

no open fires i'm afraid but if you can get to llangollen easily enough you can take the steam train to carrog station where there is a campsite on the banks of the river dee.

another one i like is just off the a55 past conwy so should be on a bus/train route. its at penmaenmawr/dwygyfychi and is called woodlands. again no open fires but a beach and some lovely snowdownia countryside around.
