Re: where did you walk today?

A very long walk for me today, about 17-18 miles I should think, from Kensworth to Ashridge, Aldbury, Pitstone Hill, Ivinghoe Beacon and back via Dagnall and Whipsnade (all around the point where Beds, Bucks and Herts meet). A very grey day, so the photos don't do the scenery justice.

It was a great walk for seeing birds - Red Kite (), Buzzard, Raven, Long-tailed Tit, Green Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Jay, Fieldfare, Yellowhammer. And I spotted a few wildflowers - Lesser Celandine, Red Dead-nettle, Coltsfoot, Dog's Mercury.
