Bramleys are my favourite apple trees. We had one when I was a kid and the stored fruit lasted all winter for pies, puddings and apple sauce, and that was an awful lot of apples!
I hope you have as much pleasure from your new tree as we did from the old one which lasted for 60 years.
If anyone wants a bramley apple but don't have room for a full size tree a bramley seedling is a good option. I've grown a couple of these (we keep moving house) without problem. |
