if you are really serious about camoflage - for example if you are stalking rare and sensitive species - then you need one of the hi tech version like mossy oak, real tree, avantix etc - check out hunting sites for the best deals.
however for general wildlife watching so long as you practice good field craft (staying down wind, not skylining yourself, moving slowly etc) you dont need this degree of camoflage and high street or army suplus will be fine , but then so will any other suitable garment in black, dark grey, olive green, navy blue or any other muted tone. | Totally agree... Dont wear bright colours , If you can keep still or if you have to move do it slowly and keep of the skyline..and pick clothes that dont rustle. Camo gear in my opinion is only useful if you have covered all the other ways of been stealthy and you are sitting still.
