Do canon uk honour any warranty if i was needing anything doing?

WHat do they require if they do.

Thanks All Gary
yes and no

if you bought it new from the states you would have warranty protection if it failed - though you might have to return it to the states.

a lot of ebay traders who import from the states will provide a (admittedly snide) uk sales receipt which canon uk will normally honour for warranty and cash back purposes

however second hand goods dont normaly come with warranties (unless you buy it from a dealer who offers one) so if it needs work you are likely to have to pay for it

however the good news is that you can go to a canon uk service agent - you wont have to worry about shipping back to the usa.

(of course if the lady didnt register it for waranty and passed the sales recipt and paperwork on to you there is nothing stopping you from registering it for warranty as if you'd bought it new - though this is technically to the left of honest)
