Question Encouraging Muntjac Deer

Hi All,

Where we keep our horses we nearly always see Muntjac (I hope that right) deer, when we arrive they do tend to dive off pretty quickly.

I would like to get some photos of these guys but I haven't got a clue what food I could use to create a feeding station for them to encourage them hang around a little longer. Has anyone got any ideas please????

I do have a hide, and there is plenty of cover around so concealing myself shouldn't be so much of a problem.

Over the weekend whilst mucking out our horses one passed by in the tree line and couldn't of been any more than 15 ft away. With that in mind I'm kind of hopeful.

Since the snow has fallen I constantly see their foot prints on one particular area, so again I do know that they must be visiting virtually everyday.

If any one can offer any advice I would be most greatful

Thanks in advance

Ed
