I've just told my Dad about the price hikes and apparently he deals with the exchange rates (he's a printer coster and estimator) and he says that is ridiculous! That sort of price hike wouldn't be justified by the exchange rates, especially if Ben says that the 400mm f/5.6 has gone up in price £100, which work out at roughly 100% price increase.
