Just read this thread. I was born near Wenlock Edge, then moved away ( to Northants) a couple of years later -yet I still call myself a Shropshire lass! We had many a happy holiday around there, my favourite was on a farm by deepest, darkest (greenest!) Clun. Truly magical.
