There is a judgment coming up somewhere (can't remember where I read it now) to clarify the position on what is legal soon.

It is possible to do things if you are suffering from trespass by the hunt (who usually include some of your neighbours after all).
Knowing what is possible and the law is quite handy. Info can be obtained from websites.
It is quite easy to make them avoid your property and it can become too much hassle for them especially as they are trying to keep obstensibly within the law and do not want bother. Although there was a certain amount of intimidation here for a while, but you have to stand up to them. They wouldn't like it if you went to their property and started running around the place. And their dogs - look up dog law too. And dog wardens.
The hunt is being forced into smaller areas here (poor foxes!) because of non landowner consent. This does work especially if people around you feel the same and you make a collective stand.
