The most intriguing statistic that I've heard today is that the fire will destroy less than a days fuel, in other words this country puts that much smoke into the atmosphere every day.
I need lean to my left about 3 feet to see the pall of smoke still undiminished since this morning, although I'm north of the fire so have avoided all the fumes. Woke me up on saturday night though-must have been loud! |
