C. squamosa is certainly a possibility, but has not been formally recorded in SK67 since 1960 (at the latest). There is at least one recent record from SK66 (I'd guess Sherwood Forest NNR). There have been about 20 different Cladonia species recorded in Notts: plenty more to find out there! |
