Here's my recent pic of the Great Orion Nebula [M42] in the 'Sword' beneath Orion's Belt taken from my backgarden with a compact 350mm fl f/5 lens [eg Meade ETX-70 'scope] + Starlight Xpress astro-CCD cam in 3m exposure
The nebula cloud is thought to be the birthplace of new stars!
