Just thought I'd say it actually looks like a juvenile clausilia to me although I can't tell species without looking into the mouth of the shell with the snail retracted, although the colour and striations don't look like the bidentata's Ive seen. Before they taper at the end they have that odd shape.
Oh and in Snail Worl 8mm is classed as large! Only snails under 3mm are small!
