Sounds like a very interesting meeting Gill.
Regarding bees visiting other nests - 60m away, would that be metres or miles?
I have read in the WAB forums about a shortage of bees this year, but this has not been the case up here in my area of Scotland, though I have noticed a severe shortage of wasps and not bees, which were numerous this year, especially Carders.
