Definite bird of the year today. Coming home from walking the dogs at Llyn Clywedog (local reservoir in mid-Wales) a male henharrier flew across the road in front of us and settled in a field, maybe fifty yards away. An absolute first for me in this area, in fact I haven't even heard of them being around here and this was less than a mile from home. I'll be going back with the camera to see if he's still around as soon as I get a chance.
