Hi HW - I Googled JPL-Horizon website that precisely computes planet positions in real-time but then you have to aim your scope at a tiny region of sky and track accurately ['cos the earth rotates!], in this case for 15 minutes of the exposure.
Did a 2nd pic last night but slightly out of focus [blurred] so not much use to see if Eris had 'moved'.

As a result of posting my pic on another forum got news that French amateur astronomers had recently recorded Eris and my picture matches perfectly with theirs showing Eris' regular but slow motion against the stars
