Beyond the orbit of Mars are 1000s of asteroid [but we're quite safe
]and here are a couple I 'snapped' on consecutive evenings this week that show asteroids Vesta and Metis apparent motion against the vastly remote background stars.
Both these asteroids can be seen currently in binoculars if you know precisely where to find them in Aries constellation - good luck
