I've just received an email update that includes the news that the Marine Conservation Society is asking for volunteers to record the jellyfish they see on UK beaches or at sea. It's all in an effort to understand the ecology of Britain's critically endangered leatherback turtles.
Sounds like a good way to spend some seaside time, for anyone who will be a regular beach visitor this summer....
