Welcome to WAB from me too.
Now you mention it, I have to say I have seen less insects around the home this summer and that with all the windows permanently open for the last 2 weeks or so with all this hot weather.
However, out and about the hot weather seems to have resulted in an increase in all sorts .... most of which I can not identify!
