Looks like you may be right as I've Google'ed it and came up with
Japanese Walnut - Juglans ailantifolia
dkimages - discover - plants - Juglans ailantifolia (Japanese Walnut)

It's puzzling that they say leaves should reach 90 cm, which is huge - largest on this fairly young tree is about 25 cm.
