I know it's proberly naughty bit i let my kids take turns to hold the newt i had.. poor kids these days can't go out newt and frog collecting, frog spawn nicking to put into their ponds their dads dug etc etc etc
It's good for the kids to do this IMO as i grew up doing it as i would say 99% of WAB members did who most have had a bnucket full of frogs and newts in their early years.
sad that as wildlife declines, this innocense isn't possible on a daily basis. More like a one off treat. |
