Thanks for the replies. My friend arrived yesterday and has gone and bought the 450D from Comet and then today bought another lens for it, a Tamron 70-300mm with a macro facility! He just couldn't wait lol. He seems pleased with it. We are going out tomorrow to try it out
. Hopefully we will have something to post on the forum.
He intends to photograph wildlife mostly so it sounds like it will be suitable.
