Hi bendog, a warm welcome to WAB from me. Glad to see you are already posting in the gallery.
In reply to how long does it take for pictures to be approved it depends on several things. Firstly and most importantly are the photos titled correctly with common and scientific name. If they are it's a big help to the gallery editors. That's not saying you can't upload them if you don't know the scientific name, it just means the gallery editors have to look it up and this takes time. Also it depends if there is a gallery editor available for the gallery your image needs to go in. Not all gallery editors upload to every gallery, most have their own specialist fields. It also depends on how many images are being posted and how many editors are onlne.
