Aldi has followed up their earlier night-vision-devise [reported here] with today's offer [Sun Oct 26-national press] of a 76mm aperture reflecting telescope eg Newtonian on equatorial mount.
The mount seems identical to that used on my Lidl 70mm f/10 refractor bought two years ago and for a similar price for the deal. Thought it may be of interest.
