star spectra

Anyone doing this? Here's a pic I took the other night of starfield in Cygnus near P Cyg - a star bright in hydrogen lines in red and blue - centre and top right. Centre right is nearby cool giant star Chi Cyg and lower right brilliant Vega showing dark hydrogen [Balmer] lines in blue-violet.

Used my SCT + Rainbow grating 'filter' + Canon 300D DSLR in exposures of
5s-30s. The spectrum provides a clue to the colour sensitivity of the camera. Good fun!
