Much quieter today with far fewer finches logged overflying and precious little in the bushes. The only positive about today is we have caught double figures of Blackbirds so perhaps they are on the move ( The other positive about today is my turning down of the offer of a lift to visit Cornwall, sorry lads!).
Three Lapwing in off was notable and the resident Little Owl showed well to a visiting party of birdwatchers, but apart from that....


I hope that the Stinking Goosefoot comes up next year as that is what I wanted to see most of all

I have still been ill as my new dvt got infected ,I am now on stong anti biotics and should be able to make it to the kitchen to make a cuppa in the next few days Fingers crossed
