Infact other than this series i have always thought the tv programs paint a FALSE picture of what its really like out there...it fooled me into getting into volunteering and doing a degree in this stuff after watching an endless bevvy of lovely 20 to 35 yr old girls who according to series like nature of britian, british isles, autumn watch, and all the rest of them seem to work or volunteer throughout the country....as well as guys in the same age bracket...well im damned if i havent come across a single one in my 3 or 4 years now of volunteer/study of natural history!.
your in the wrong county - there is a whole group of pretty ladies in the Essex wildlife trust, working as well as volunteering. Although not being single i havent noticed
