Well, a message could be "stickied" in the unid section, so that when people post a photo in there for i.d., they read the msge advising them to post a thread here.
On said thread, they would link their particular photo. Like this, for example:
Click on this link to take you to unidentified photo
Then, when people click on that link, it will take them direct to the photo (in this case, one of yours I picked out at random).
