Hi Sylv, there are a lot of good place for these on the IW but the best is Alverstone Mead Nature Reserve near Sandown where there is a hide and feeders. The Reds are very 'tame' and you will get excellent views of them there. Also Parkhurst Forest just outside Newport, Brighstone Forest and Firestone Copse (near Ryde) are good as well.
There's also Newtown Nature Reserve, Hersey NR and Brading Marsh as well.
