Hi there,
I discovered this website while searching the internet trying to identify some fungi I'd photographed in the Lake district last week. I spent a week on holiday in Ambleside and visited Rydal water, Yew Tree Tarn, Harrup Tarn, Grizedale Forest and Blea Tarn amongst others.
It was a landscape photography holiday with friends from Scotland, but whilst sheltering in the woods from a shower one day, I discovered various fungi which I photographed. It was a very interesting time and has opened my eyes to a whole new photographic area. It does seem to involve lots of lying down on wet ground/mud trying to contort my body and the camera/tripod into small areas.
Anyway, this seems a great place and look forward to 'chatting' with other like minded individuals.
