I found the emotive and almost defamatory language of some of the "eminent" sceptics who were talking about the original hockey stick graph as being "scientific fraud" quite shocking. How these people can maintain that view in the face of the repeated confirmation of the data by other studies and still claim to be scientists beggars belief - ostrich syndrome. I think many of them are not actually climate scientists and are pushed forward as experts even though their experience is often in very different fields.
