Most definitely so eeyore,we have to step up our use of wave and tidal power [ a very predicable and reliable alternative ] But conservation of all our resources is vital.Too late now I fear for nuclear power in the UK as the baby has been thrown out with the bath water so new interconnectors with Europe are becoming vital.I bet this winter will see the first widespread blackouts if it is a cold one.
