Is it a clamp like Eeyore just described or a whole seperate unit? The Delta tripod I believe has an easily removable centre column, I think In Focus do a dedicated hide clamp for that model.
Carrying two seperate units would be a real pain if you didn't have a rucksack or something. I always have a rucksack for me sarnies and a brew.
