Ah thanks Tracey - I'm glad its still giving pleasure (I must admit to sneaking a fast read thro about once a week to keep the feelings alive - it sort of extends the holiday!) We're approaching our las hol of the year next month - and are waiting till the night before to decide just which direction we're heading in - nothing planned - well yes we have plans - but not set in stone! We will probably spend two weeks driving up and down the M6

Surely it’s not down to brilliance at their work, is it?

Well its turned out even worse than the above thoughts - we are still at home as the weather is just abysmal - yesterday it rained non-stop and Pennington Flash is now flooded in part - as I suspect a lot of places round the country will be. The most annoying part is that north west Scotland has had a beautiful week but I wasn't well enough to set off and go that distance from home after putting my back out three weeks ago ........ life is an oeoeoeo at times .......... sigh ...........
