I have a photo of a minke whale (well, the dorsal fin anyway...) but it was taken in Canada, not the UK. I'd offer it anyway but I'm sure someone else on here has seen them off Scotland

I just looked up the entry on the fox and to be honest I'm not sure about the inference that they're principally nocturnal as when they're not persecuted they're active at all hours. Also, I am unaware of any studies showing that hedgehogs are a substantial part of their diet (certainly less than voles, which aren't mentioned) and it's well established that surplus killing takes place because of the confined situation of chicken runs. Foxes normally cache extra food.
