Since orchids have been playing a prominent role in the posts over the past few days I thought I would take the opportunity to advertise a web site with the rather pretentious title Orchids of Britain and Europe (see links and I will include it in my signature for a while), set up by myself and my orchid crony.

We have started out using it as somewhere to put our photos (I never realised how much work it would be) but hope to develop it through the winter into something much more informative. Especially to highlight variation within species.

I am sure it is going to take longer than we think but we would be very grateful for any comments/suggestions regarding the site

I should add that there are many non-so-intentional errors already. So we will; need watching!
