The only lichen genus I can think of which regularly grows in lawns is
Peltigera. The taxonomy of this genus has recently been revised, so won't attempt to use any specific names. The RHS has a
web page on it.
I think the basic answer is improve drainage or, better, develop an interest in lichenology.
