The other day I found a green bin and some blue bags left at the top of the lane. We can now re-cycle kitchen waste - although ours goes outside on compost - cardboard, plastic and paper. But not glass.
This is wonderful, we must be one of the last places in UK to have any form of household recycling. Previous to this week it meant a trip to the town carpark 5 miles away where no cardboard, envelopes or plastic could be re-cycled.
