| Re: the ground around my bird feeder I noticed this week, that the actual seeds in the feeder which are exposed, have started to shoot! * Previously, I've had the same thing happen to the ground beneath, as you are experiencing, nightshade. Being of inquisitive mind, I tend to leave it and see what comes up. We've had lots of small sunflowers this year - produced in this way - together with various grasses.
*Which reminds me, why aren't the birds interested in the various treats I've been tempting them with? Fruit, bread, cake, seed etc. just isn't being devoured. Is it all to do with this mild weather? |
