| Welsh 3000s
I have already posted this in the marketing group forum so apologies to Stu et al for the duplication - sorry about that.
Anyway I'm thinking about trying to break the welsh three thousands record as a publicity stunt/ sponsored fundraiser for WAB. (for those that dont know this is the record for getting to the tops of all the 3000ft peaks in the snowdon range in the shortest time)
Its currently a tad under 5hours as set by a fell runner in 03 (prior to that it had stood at just over 8 hours since 1932)
If I go for this i would expect to get decent coverage in running mags, and outdoor magazines such Trail, plus possibly in the national press. Which would be a brilliant way to promote the site.
Anyway the reason for this post is that I really would prefer to do this with a running mate and I wondered if any other wabbers out there who would be up for it.
