Right, so far it seems that I have to join these organisations to be able to buy the carnet/card. Which then begs another questions - is there any value in joining these clubs for people like us who
only camp on the continent (and don't have a caravan). If not, then how does one get hold of the CCI?
Going slightly off the topic, I'd be interested to know of uses of these clubs. Are they like the YHA for caravanners or other campers? They seem to offer a lot of options but how useful are they to the occasional (foreign!) camper?
