Thanks everyone for the warm welcome
The previous owner of the house is a bird lover and she even left us a nice note giving information on the birds and how to feed them. She kept the garden very bird friendly with fruit plants, tree for shelter, spikey plants to repel cats, covered waterbutts, window adhesives, etc. We've got two bird feeders, a tray and a bird bath.
I'm dying to find out if I can atract a hedgehog to our garden, that would be simply wonderful!
I don't know what my chances are though... I live in South Yorkshire, in a semi-rural small village.
