Been out early(6.30-7am),saw the kestrel chicks in the nest site at Hadleigh castle.Looks like 3 of them ,1 of which seems a bit older than the other 2,may fledge in the next week.
Walked further along country park sighted 7 shelducks,1 heron flying overhead.Watched a small flock of coaltits flitting around in the bushes,heard skylark,wren,blackbird and a blackcap.
Cuckoo surprised me again by flying overhead very low,it alighted in a tree at the far end of the meadow.Too far away to try for a photo
Finally a
Fox trotted ahead of me on the track with a small
Rabbit in its mouth!!
