| Tarn Hows!!.....This is better
Most people who know or have been to the Lake District will know Tarn Hows. It is indeed a beautiful place which I visit quite often. However further to the south there is in my opinion a far better place called High Dam. It is not very far from Finsthwaite or the Stott Park Bobbin Mill. There are good paths up to it but not for those of limited mobility. We visited the are a few days ago.
