Following massive support from many contributors, we've managed to reach our target of 1000 photos in the
gallery this morning. Technically it's still the 28 February in some parts of the world and with this being the global Internet, I'm happy to announce that we managed to beat the deadline
We'd like to say an enormous thankyou to everyone who has helped us acheive the target and we look forward to seeing lots more of your photographs as Spring arrives the UK.
Next job, we need to start naming all of the entries
So if you'd like to help out then simply add the common name and scientific name - if you know it - together with any description or keywords information in the comments box under the relevant photograph in the gallery and we'll update the details at the first opportunity.
