The two pics above look suspisiously like Edible Frogs,which is a viable cross between the Marsh and Pool, (the green line down their back is the give away,true Marshies don't have it) the whole Rana ridibunda/lessonae/esculenta is all a bit of a nightmare to taxonamists. I have both Marsh and Edibles in my pond and the Edibles have a wider vocalisation than the Marshies, they have more "individualism" as well. |
