Well I visited my favourite reserve today for the first time in a while and it was as beautiful as ever. Just wondered if any of the more local members (and of course people willing to travel) would like to schedule a summer meet here. I know there are a few Norfolk and Suffolk members! Of course it'd be open to all but I know that it's quite a trip for others. Would be nice to have a meet closer to home at some point
I went today and saw 5 Hobbies, reed warblers, sparrows
a Marsh Harrier, some unid' noisy things
On the board where people report sightings, there's a recent sighting of the Rare and confined to this area - Raft Spider. There have been Kingfishers and buntings all seen in the past week.
Would be interested to see if there are people who might attend?
